United are on the hunt for a new keeper, with doubts hanging over the future of Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir.
Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, Mike Maignan, and Senne Lammens have all been linked with the Red Devils recently.
Now, BILD is reporting that United are showing interest in Santos.
United director Christopher Vivell has already made contact with Frankfurt, and Tottenham's technical director Johan Lange is also keeping tabs on the young keeper.
However, Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krösche has made it clear that Santos is not up for grabs this summer.
"We will definitely not sell Kauã this summer," he stated earlier this week.
Santos, 22, is under contract with Frankfurt until 2030.
