Hurzeler dropped a bombshell about Kaoru Mitoma. “The big buzzword today is positivity. Kaoru is back, JP (van Hecke) is back, and we've got a bunch of rehab players who'll be starting training next week. That's a huge positive for us, and positivity is the word for Easter.”
Brentford, Hurzeler warns, will be a tough nut to crack. “They're man-oriented, athletic, and fast. Wissa, Mbeumo, Schade, and Damsgaard are a nightmare to deal with. Plus, they've got a great atmosphere. It's going to be a big challenge, but that's exactly what we want to be – a team that's hard to beat.”
Hurzeler admits he's seen a big reaction from his players this week. “They're working hard, and I'm seeing players who want to show their best. It's important to enjoy the game and stay relaxed. When you're forcing it, you're not making good decisions.”
Finally, Hurzeler on owner Tony Bloom: “No pressure. It's an opportunity to make him happy. He's a big supporter, and it's our job to make him proud.”
