Munoz found his home at Selhurst Park last summer, and he's been instrumental in the Eagles' pursuit of European football. Speaking to the club's official website, he said: ‘The energy on the field at Selhurst Park – it's my home now.’
Steve Parish, the club chairman, also expressed his delight at the extension, praising Munoz’s dedication to the club over the past year.
‘This is a fantastic day for Crystal Palace. Daniel is the embodiment of a top-notch pro, giving his all in every match and training session. He's made a tremendous impact since arriving in South London last year, and I'm thrilled he's chosen to lock in his future with us.’
Glasner earlier this month praised the right-back's character and admitted there's still room for improvement.
‘Danny (Munoz) embodies the passion and spirit of the team. He's so professional and always plays at a high level. However, he knows he needs to tighten up a few things, like that third goal we conceded at Manchester City after half-time – a mistake he's made a few times this season.
‘It's great to have him. Since he arrived, he's had such a good and positive impact on the Crystal Palace performance. Having players like him in the squad is what every manager dreams of. He's reliable and always available.’
