Yamal also mentioned that he doesn't feel any pressure to perform, as he's at a top-level club. He cited Lionel Messi, a legendary player who previously wore the number 10 jersey, as an inspiration. Yamal said, "Messi made his way to the top, and I'll try to make mine. The number 10 jersey is a symbol of that goal."

When asked about coach Hansi Flick's reaction to him taking the number 10 jersey, Yamal laughed and said, "He told me we have a double session tomorrow, but he also congratulated me and advised me to get a good night's sleep."
