“We're extremely pleased with the result, especially considering it was the first time this season we've won after an international break,” Glasner said in an interview with Palace TV.
Glasner praised his team's performance, stating that they had expected a tough game against a highly motivated Wolves side with a new manager.
He explained that the team had felt they were in a good position in the first half, but weren't able to capitalize on their opportunities due to the opposing team's defense.
Glasner gave credit to his staff for making the necessary adjustments in the set plays, which allowed the team to find success in the second half.
“We expected them to defend the cut-back with two players, but they only had one today. My staff showed the players the new plan and they executed it perfectly,” Glasner said.
Glasner added that the team was able to control the game and secure the win after taking the lead.
He praised Yeremy Pino's goal, stating that it was an amazing finish and a testament to the team's ability to adapt and execute their game plan.
