Lazio's poor performance over the last few months of the season meant they missed out on a spot in the European competitions. Despite this, Fabiani believes the team did well in some competitions and had a chance to qualify for the Champions League until the very end.

Fabiani also mentioned that Baroni felt it was the right time for him to leave the team, but Lazio could have done with a few more points at their home stadium, the Stadio Olimpico.

The team is now in talks with Maurizio Sarri about a possible return to Lazio.
