Amorim discussed the importance of captain Bruno Fernandes to the team. "He is a top player and we need top players," he said. "He is a leader and we want to keep him." Fernandes' future at the club has been the subject of speculation, but Amorim is keen to keep him. "We want to keep him, he is one of the top players in the world," he added.

Amorim reflected on the first leg, acknowledging that United had problems in the first 30 minutes. "We lost possession and they created chances because of it," he explained. "We watched the game and showed the players why we had problems."

To reach the final, Amorim believes his team must suffer and be prepared to face a tough game. "We have to face the game as one more game. We will have to suffer a little bit to go to the final, and we are ready to suffer," he said.
